Hundreds of Venezuelans paid their final respects to a popular actress whose killing in front of her five-year-old daughter has reignited debate about the nation’s rampant crime.

The UK's Foreign Office has said a man shot dead along with his actress wife in Venezuela was a British national.

A former Miss Venezuela and her husband, described by local media as Irish, have been shot dead during a robbery after their car broke down in the country.
