A group of Afghan men jailed for hijacking a plane from Kabul to Stansted to escape a Taliban death squad were cleared by the British Court of Appeal today.

A group of Afghan men will face a costly retrial at the Old Bailey after a jury failed to agree on whether they were guilty of hijacking an aircraft.
