A “generous gift” from a foundation closely linked to the royal family of Dubai and the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates is to fund four new professorships at Trinity College Dublin.

The ISEQ took back some of yesterday's losses in trading today, climbing 13.16 to close the day at 6,415.99.

The ISEQ index rose slightly this morning, up 0.61 points to 6419.09.

ISEQ-listed Dragon Oil’s directors Mirza Al Sayegh and Brent Kinney were reappointed at the company’s annual general meeting in London yesterday.
