A 34-year-old California woman has been found guilty of murdering her two-month-old daughter, who was killed after she was placed in a microwave for as long as five minutes.

Police in Sacramento, California, have arrested a 29-year-old mother on suspicion of murder and assault resulting in the death of a child, after an investigation found her baby probably died from burns suffered in a microwave oven.
