Irish children adopted by rich American families in the 50s and 60s have spoken of their harrowing Stateside childhoods in a new BBC documentary.

Irish children may have been illegally adopted from mother and baby homes by US and British couples after signatures from their birth mothers were "blatantly forged" by unknown officials.
