AN aid group warned yesterday of increasing risks linked to teen pregnancy worldwide, saying as many as a million babies born to young mothers die of childbirth complications each year.

One in 10 babies in the world is born to a teenage mother, greatly increasing the risk of death to both mother and child, humanitarian group Save the Children said today.
