LOCH Bo Butch is the star turn at the two-day Cork Cup coursing meeting which starts at Blarney on St Stephen’s Day.

LORD Thady Dunraven brought the Irish Cup back home to Kilgobbin, Adare, last night for the first time since the Dunravens let loose greyhounds in pursuit of the trophy 100 years ago.

SPRUCE HUNTER, owned by Master Darragh Bourke from Castleisland, Co Kerry — beaten in the semi-finals of All-Aged Stakes at Castleisland and Kilflynn — made it third time lucky yesterday when taking the Jades Dilemma and Big Fella Thank Stake at Clonakilty.
