The race for promotion out of Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League remains a three-horse race after Kerry, Antrim and Offaly all enjoyed comfortable wins this weekend.

Wicklow took a huge step towards securing their Division 2A future for another year when they edged out Mayo by 1-16 to 1-13 at the Connacht Centre of Excellence in the only game in the Division played on Sunday.

Offaly’s first game in Division 2A of the National Hurling League for over a decade turned out to be a nervous affair as they had to hold off a strong fightback from Meath in Birr.
