A robber has gone on the run from an open prison which was at the centre of Britain’s most high-profile recent fugitive cases.

A convicted murderer has gone on the run from a British prison for the third time.

An armed robber Michael Wheatley, known as the "Skull Cracker", who has been on the run in the UK has been found and two men are in custody in London, Kent police said

Violent armed robber Michael Wheatley, dubbed the “Skull Cracker”, who went missing after temporarily being allowed out of jail in the UK has been seen in south west London, Scotland Yard said.
