Police are investigating whether the murders of a US judge’s husband and her frail 89-year-old mother were the work of white supremacists out for revenge.

A US judge, who was once the target of a failed murder plot by a white supremacist, returned to her Chicago home from work last night to find the bodies of her husband and mother.
