A man who was discovered by gardaí to have a large amount of stolen money in his underwear has been jailed for two years.

A robber will not be going home for Christmas this year because his release from jail would "be a disaster for himself and everyone else" according to Judge Desmond Hogan at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
