A Limerick teen who was left unable to walk for long periods due to her scoliosis is set to compete in a half-marathon.

Update 7pm: Sinn Féin says the HSE's stated aim of bringing down scoliosis surgery wait times to four months is unlikely to be met by the end of the year.

Surgery, scheduled for next week, has been cancelled for a schoolgirl whose crippling scoliosis condition forced Minister for Health Simon Harris to admit he was ashamed.
