A 16-year-old boy who caused €8,000 worth of damages during a high-speed joyride has been remanded in custody pending sentence at the Dublin Children’s Court.

A 15-year-old boy was today charged along with his father and uncle over an outbreak of violence linked to a Traveller family feud which has seen “tit for tat” attacks, homes vandalised, a stabbing and a shooting.

The State was today granted a time extension to allow it complete the book of evidence in the case of a 17-year-old boy charged with the murder of a Polish man in Drimnagh, in Dublin in February.
