A law graduate has been sentenced for five years in prison with 18 months suspended for setting fire to a medical student in a Galway nightclub three years ago.

A man remains in a critical condition after receiving 80% burns on his body after his Halloween costume caught fire in a nightclub in Galway City on Wednesday night.
