AS the exciting build-up to the All-Ireland football decider continues, Mayo received a great boost yesterday when Ballinrobe accounted for Tralee in the All-Ireland final of the Bulmers-sponsored Pierce Purcell Shield at Shannon.

KILLARNEY and County Louth are two of the biggest and most respected clubs in the country. Both have produced some great players and characters but surprisingly neither has yet captured the Bulmers Irish Junior Cup.
