A man allegedly paid to murder the partner of his co-accused said he offered to do the killing voluntarily, the Central Criminal Court has heard.

A Dublin woman accused of murdering her violent partner signed herself into a psychiatric unit days after the killing, a detective sergeant told the Central Criminal court today.
