A man was ‘crucified’ by having his feet nailed onto the kitchen floor of a house where he was held captive, it was alleged yesterday at Limerick District Court.

An elderly man, described as “a serious risk to young children”, has been jailed for six years with the final 18 months suspended for sexually assaulting boys.
