A father of five who sexually abused his eldest daughter more than 24 years ago has been sentenced to six years in jail by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

THE family of a young man found hanging in a garda cell told a coroner’s court they had been “ignored” by the Garda Commissioner and Minister for Justice in their attempts to find out details of his death.

No-one will be prosecuted over the death of a Dublin man in police custody, it emerged today.
