Democratic Unionist MP Nigel Dodds, and Sinn Féin's policing spokesperson Gerry Kelly became the third and fourth Assembly members to be elected in the North's Assembly elections today, both capturing seats in North Belfast.

The cross-community Alliance Party will today call for public funds spent on segregating society in the North to be diverted to projects that benefit both communities.

The Unionist Party will contest 11 seats in the local Government elections, it was announced today.
