DCU Mercy are the 2007 Women's SuperLeague Champions after a stunning display against UL Aughinish at the UL Arena in Limerick this afternoon.

Team Montenotte Hotel Cork have defeated UL Aughinish 89-75 in a pulsating final in the National Basketball Arena to claim the Women's Superleague National Cup.

THERE was little joy for Irish basketball at the weekend, with the national senior teams slumping to defeats in European Championship qualifiers.
