A European arrest warrant is expected to be issued in the coming months for Ian Bailey following his conviction for the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier yesterday in Paris.

Everybody was surprised at how quickly the jury came back, considering they had heard 59 days of evidence. Only some, though, of those squeezed into the court, were surprised at the actual verdict.
