Staff working on hit US TV show 'Ugly Betty' have been made redundant on the same day the programme was re-commissioned for a third series, according to reports.

Spice Girl Victoria Beckham will cameo in the upcoming second season of Ugly Betty, the show's executive producer has confirmed.
