DEFENDING All-Ireland junior football champions Sligo retained their provincial title in dramatic fashion in Charlestown.

A TRY nine minutes from time by Irish schools international Conor Fitzgibbon helped give Marist College, Athlone victory over a battling Calasanctius College side in Oranmore yesterday in the quarter-final of the Connacht Senior Schools Cup.
