UAE ambassador struck women and referred to them as ‘rubbish’

An ambassador at the centre of a worker exploitation case which resulted in an Employment Appeals Tribunal hearing last week has been recalled.

Detailed laboratory tests found no Legionnaires’ bacteria in a five-star hotel in Dubai where three guests recently became ill with the disease, an official said today.
