Former track record holder Quietly can emerge victorious from tonight’s final of the Greyhound and Pet World Supersprint at Curraheen Park, which is, unquestionably, one the best two-bend races ever run at this track.

Mimis Ace, trained by John Kiely for Maura Kiely, Blackrock, earned his ticket to the Boylesports Irish Derby by taking Saturday night’s final of the trial stake at Curraheen Park in great style.

The fastest time of the night on Saturday’s card at Curraheen Park came in the opener but, more significantly and a little surprisingly, it came from a newcomer, Barnagrane Glen, owned by Paudie O’Keeffe.
