A nine -year-old girl, who cut her forehead when she fell in a Dublin creche, has been awarded €40,000 damages in the Circuit Civil Court.

It was meant to be just a girls’ day out, so it came as a mighty shock when Laura Jayne Halton was declared the best dressed lady at the Dublin Horse Show in the RDS yesterday.
