The jurors in the Soham murder trial travelled today from the small Cambridgeshire town across the Fens to the remote ditch in Suffolk where the girls’ bodies were found.

THE parents of murdered schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman have made private visits to the site where the bodies of their daughters were found, police said yesterday.

Police investigating the double murder of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman today searched the home of the alleged killer’s grandmother.

Police have begun searching a bungalow in Lakenheath about four miles from the spot where the bodies of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were found.
