The French government has shown its appreciation to a businesswoman who for 30 years has remained a pillar of strength for the French community in Cork.

The most senior French diplomatic official based in Cork says she hopes the “aged parents” of murder victim Sophie Toscan du Plantier “will live to see her killer brought to justice”.
