HANDICAP king Tony Martin won the Heart Of Down Ulster Cesarewitch for the fourth time in nine years when Green Mile justified favouritism in the Downpatrick marathon yesterday.

OSLOT became only the third British-trained horse to win the Galway Plate when landing a huge off-course and on-course gamble for Paul Nicholls and Ruby Walsh at Ballybrit yesterday.

VERY few horses come to the Galway Festival as hotly fancied as Oslot was for yesterday’s Plate and then deliver in the manner Paul Nicholls’ charge did.
