The hurlers of Tyrone and Roscommon both recorded home wins as the 2013 Nicky Rackard Cup got underway this afternoon.

Donegal confirmed their place in the Allianz Hurling League Division 3A final, while their were wins also for Tyrone and Fingal over a busy weekend.

Christy Ring Cup champions London began their Allianz Division 2B campaign with an impressive 0-21 to 0-14 win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds yesterday.

There were two wins for Ulster sides in Division 3A of the Allianz Hurling League as Fermanagh and Donegal claimed victories, while Leinster neighbours Louth and Fingal played out an entertaining draw at Swords.
