Three Irish officials who were questioned by police in Brazil over the Olympic ticketing scandal are expected to soon be on their way home to Ireland.

The crisis-hit Olympic Council of Ireland has failed to fully back Pat Hickey amid growing speculation its older and newer board members are divided over the high-profile official.

Update 2.30pm: Pat Hickey has been transferred this morning to Bangu, the same prison as Mallon.
