The funeral takes place today of an Irish man and his wife who were shot dead in their South African home last week.

Investigations are continuing in South Africa as to what drove a man to kill his daughter and her Irish husband.

THE daughter of an Irishman shot dead in South Africa has said she is “completely numb” at the tragedy which left both her father and his wife dead.

AN Irish man and his wife who lived in South Africa are believed to have been shot dead by the woman’s father, who later admitted to a friend that “he had made a mess”.
