The public inquiry into the horrors of Bloody Sunday, which helped blight chances of peace in the North for nearly 30 years, is today reaching a crucial stage.

A doctor who treated the victims of Bloody Sunday has told the inquiry into the massacre that he believes the British army used illegal "dum-dum" bullets to attack Catholic civilians in Derry.

The Bloody Sunday Inquiry resumes today at the Guildhall in Derry.
