Punch & Judy, donkey rides, sandcastles and candy floss are in short supply in Adrian Grunberg’s grimy and darkly comic thriller.

There are, putting it mildly, plenty of people who would like to see Mel Gibson thrown into a hellhole of a Mexican prison and the key thrown away, given his increasingly deranged anti-Semitic rants.

The calibration is a bit off in 'The Sitter', David Gordon Green's comedy about a young slacker (Jonah Hill) tasked with minding three unruly children over the course of one insane evening.
