LAWYERS for Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs, who turned 75 on Sunday, are seeking freedom for the ailing prisoner on compassionate grounds.

Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs has been visited by his son for the first time since he returned to a British jail.

Ronnie Biggs is due to appear before a Magistrates Court in London later today after he was arrested following 35 years on the run in Brazil.

The way was paved for train robber Ronnie Biggs to return to Britain after the Government issued him with an emergency passport.
