Historic Dromana House in west Waterford celebrates its 800th anniversary next month with four days of extraordinary and varied festivities in the region.

The Taoiseach has presented the Science Foundation Ireland St. Patrick's Day Science Medal to Professor Katherine Fitzgerald, Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
