A drug addict with "a capacity for violence and aggressive behaviour", who stabbed another man in the back during a row, has been jailed for seven years at the Central Criminal Court for manslaughter.

The mother of a Clare man who was stabbed in the back during a row previously lost her daughter in a car crash and finds that life is now “a constant struggle with only memories to sustain” her, the Central Criminal Court has heard.
