A NEW ZEALAND petrol station owner suspected of withdrawing millions of dollars and going on the run after a bank error has appeared in court after being extradited from Hong Kong.

A NEW ZEALAND man who allegedly fled the country after a bank mistakenly deposited millions of dollars into his account has been arrested in Hong Kong, according to police.
