More victims of the News of the World phone-hacking scandal have settled their damages claims, the High Court in London heard today.

ACTOR Hugh Grant and writer Jemima Khan must be shown police information which indicates their telephone messages might have been intercepted by a private investigator working for the press, a High Court judge has ruled.

Nearly 30 high-profile figures who suspect that their phone messages were intercepted by News of the World journalists are taking legal action – with more litigants “coming along week by week”, a High Court judge in Britain heard today.
