A DANISH court yesterday dismissed a defamation lawsuit against a newspaper that first published the Prophet Mohammed cartoons that touched off protests in the Islamic world.

The editor-in-chief of the newspaper whose cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed sparked a worldwide furore today said he had no plans to resign over the issue.
