Priests from all over Cork were due to meet today to air their views on the findings of the Cloyne Report.

A PRIEST from the Diocese of Cloyne has called on diocesan officials to provide details of the 1999 unfair dismissal case, which was withdrawn after Bishop John Magee reportedly paid the former employee £40,000 and demanded a confidentiality clause.

WHATEVER reasoning was used by Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Barry Andrews, when he decided not to immediately publish a Department of Health commissioned report into how allegations of child sexual abuse were handled by the Diocese of Cloyne, it stinks to high heaven.
