Beaufort 2-8 Milltown/Castlemaine 1-10: For the first time in 18 years, Beaufort claimed the Mid Kerry SFC title, repeating their 1998 success over the same opposition, at the same venue, JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin. 

Kerry SFC, Round 2B - Milltown/ Castlemaine 1-15 East Kerry 1-14 (after extra time): Milltown/Castlemaine recovered from a poor opening half, when they were fortunate to still be in the contest, to take over in the second before going on to beat East Kerry in extra time in Killorglin.

Milltown-Castlemaine 2-9 Austin Stacks 2-6: It could only happen in Kerry! Last year’s county champions Austin Stacks are staring down the barrel of relegation from the senior championship to the intermediate ranks in 2016.
