Tipperary GAA chiefs were forced to cancel a recruitment course for new referees in Thurles last night due to a lack of numbers.

New Mid Tipperary GAA chairman Jonathan Cullen has warned that revenue from television and media rights now appear to be driving the national fixtures plan at the expense of the grassroots of the association.
