Three alleged Limerick burglars fled from a rural Clare farm house after discovering that the sole occupant was a man in his 90s asleep in the home.

Four Limerick men have been charged in connection with a burglary at a home in Ennis, County Clare.

Police believe they have found the bodies of almost everyone killed in Australia's wildfire disaster and the current death toll of 201 is not likely to rise dramatically, a senior commander said.
