LOVED ones of the 270 victims of the Lockerbie bombing yesterday began taking part in a series of events to mark the 20th anniversary of the atrocity.

Dr Jim Swire, 60, spokesman for the UK Lockerbie families, said the verdict would not be the ‘‘end of the road' for the victims’ relatives.

The families of those who died in the Lockerbie disaster are today finally hearing whether the two Libyans accused of mass murder are innocent or guilty.
