Five men have appeared in court in Dublin charged in connection with a €5.3m drugs haul.

A 33-year-old Dublin man who is charged with the 2007 murder of a man in the city was today refused bail in the High Court by Mr Justice Barry White.

Two garda detectives who interviewed Colm Murphy, who is accused in connection with the Omagh bombing, were cleared of perjury and forgery charges, the Special Criminal Court heard yesterday.
