A preliminary report into the death of a pilot and instructor in a plane crash in Wexford last month records that witnesses say the plane disintegrated in the air.

Hundreds of mourners gathered to pay their respects to a much loved son, brother, uncle and friend who died in an air crash in Wexford three days ago.

The two men who were killed in the crash have been named locally as Peter Tawse, 61, from Old Ross in Co Wexford, and 58-year-old John Finnan from Naas in Co Kildare.
