Joe Ward hobbled out of the European Championships following a freak injury against Polish light heavyweight Matrusz Tryc in Minsk, Belarus yesterday.

WORLD Youth champion Joe Ward, Darren O’Neill, John Joe Nevin and Con Sheehan all advanced to today’s finals at the Feliks Stamm Multi-Nations tournament following semi-final wins yesterday.
