Only for the dedicated fans of Knoxville and gang, this third outing for the litany of gross-out, cruel comedy, based on the TV series, does have an edge in the 3D treatment, though the mad, bad and dangerous pranks and stunts – and the toilet humour – do begin to annoy.

The boys are back in town, up to all manner of tricks and japes. Laugh? You'll wonder when to start.

It's a witless big-screen version of the witless MTV series and it hasn't a sliver of entertainment lurking anywhere near it.
