Finnish investigators today said a quiet, young chemistry student was behind a deadly bomb blast at a busy shopping mall outside Helsinki.

POLICE probing Finland's worst peacetime bomb attack have found material for making bombs at the home of the only suspect, a chemistry student who was among the seven killed by the blast, investigators said on Sunday.

Seven people died and 80 were injured after a bomb ripped through a crowded shopping mall near Helsinki.
